<p>The bus has an average size capacity for 49 passengers, and offers restrooms aboard.  Chichen Itza tour is shared with guests from other resorts in Cancun. The visitor´s center at the entrance of Chichen Itza includes restrooms, a museum and craft stores.</p>
<p><strong>Schedule</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Tour departs daily and it´s an all-day tour (from 7:00 am-7:00 pm aprox.)</li>
<li>The bus picks up guests in their hotel at 7:00 am.</li>
<li>Continues picking up more guests in other hotels until reaching the meeting point where participants will register and change buses.</li>
<li>Tour arrives in Cancun at 7:00 pm.</li>

<p><strong>Tour Tips</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>It´s important to be 10 minutes in the lobby before pick-up time and at the meeting point for the ride back to Cancun.</li>
<li>Bring along extra money (for shopping, meals and drinks).</li>
<li>If you wish to film in the archaeological zone, it has an additional cost of $4.00 USD.</li>
<li>Wear light clothes, comfortable shoes and a hat.</li>
<li>Drink lots of water.</li>
<li>Bring environmental-friendly insect repellent, sun block and a camera.</li>
<li>Make a visit to the museum.</li>
<li>Respect restricted areas in the park.</li>
<li>It´s forbidden to take pictures inside the buildings use tripod and film equipment without a special permit.</li>

<p><strong>Extra Info</strong></p>
<p>The distance from Cancun to Chichen Itza takes a 2.5-3 hour-drive. The weather in Chichen Itza is hot and humed, with an average temperature of 34 degrees Celsius. The equinox phenomena can be enjoyed on March 22nd, and in autumn on September 22nd.</p>
<p>Important: The tour schedules can change without previous notice. For more information please contact your travel agent before planning your activity.</p>
<p>Chichen Itza is open from 8 a.m to 6 p.m everyday. There is an entrance fee of $80 pesos (US$8) that is included if you <strong>buy a tour from Cancun</strong>, and an additional fee for carrying video cameras. At night, a there is a light show. Parking is available for a small fee. There are restaurants, souvenir shops and bathrooms at the site, as well as some luxury hotels. Chichen Itza is located in the town of Piste, just 1.5 km (1 mile) from the town center. Buses from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Merida and other cities stop at the ruins.</p>
